Airport Travel Tips
How Early Should You Get to the Airport?
It is recommended to arrive to the airport a minimum of two hours prior to your flights boarding time. It is also suggested to get to the security check-point roughly forty-five minutes to one hour prior to your flights boarding time. Once you are through security, make sure you are at your flights gate at least thirty minutes prior to boarding.
What Should You Bring in Your Carry On?
Your carry on is what you bring with you on the plane and through the airport. It is suggested that whatever you want easy access to be placed in your carry on. Such items tend to include: medication, laptops, chargers, a spare set of clothes, toothbrush and toothpaste, hygiene products, and snacks (no drinks though!). Also make sure to bring something that will entertain you during the flight like a book, magazine, and headphones.
Security: What Do You Need?
For domestic travel, you only need your valid government issued ID and boarding pass. For international travel, you need to have your valid passport and boarding pass. Boarding passes can either be printed copies from your specific airline or can be saved to your mobile device.
